I am working as an assistant professor in School of Technology Doon University, Dehradun, where I work on cloud computing and big data.Along with this I am pursuing my PhD from G B Pant Engineering College, Uttarakhand.

Research Interests

My research has spanned from general machine learning and data mining to privacy preserving data mining,Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing & Virtualization, Energy Efficient and Green Computing, High Performance Computing, Software Defined Networks and Internet of Things.

My current interests lie at the intersection of Machine Learning/Data Mining, Public Policy, and Social Sciences. I’m interested in solving large-scale and high impact social problems using data driven and evidence based methods. I am working on my thesis where I am try to solve the problem of Energy Efficiency through Dynamic Hadoop Cluster Management.
